A gloved hand drawing a squeegee down a soaped window, the clean edge running ahead of the blade.
The blade travels; the surface changes behind it. That is the whole idea below.

Six passes, five endings

A pass does not remove an amount of soil. It removes a fraction of what is still there — so what is left after n passes is r = (1 − k)ⁿ, and k belongs to the surface. Scroll is the pass count. Every plate below is given the same six passes.

Grid of office glazing seen at an angle, printed achromatic with the specular return at full.

Glazing

A squeegee leaves nothing behind to re-wet, so almost all of what is there goes on the first draw.

Painted wall

Emulsion holds soil in the texture. A cloth reaches the peaks first and the pits last.

Hard floor

A rotary head lifts soil into the solution, and whatever is not extracted goes back down.

Small mosaic tiling with wide grout lines, printed achromatic with the specular return at full.

Tile grout

Grout is porous and sits below the tile face. Most of a pass lands on the tile, not in the joint.

Pale sealed limestone at close range, printed achromatic with the specular return at full.

Sealed limestone

We do not wet-clean sealed limestone. Detergent strips the seal, so the work is refused and the surface is dry-dusted by the building.

Residual is the share of the original soil still on the surface. Our finish line is 0.05 — five per cent left. Sealed limestone never reaches it here because we do not wet-clean it: detergent strips the seal, so that job is refused and the plate rides the rack unchanged.

Published rates

These are the rates we quote from. Grout, oven interiors and post-build work are timed because their removal rate is low — that is the argument the rack above is making.

Standard rate card, valid to 31 March 2027. Prices exclude VAT.

Send us a floor area and a postcode.

We will price it the same working day. If it is a surface we would refuse — sealed stone, untreated timber, anything under warranty — we will say so instead of quoting for it.
